Please be aware that the Memorial Student Center serves as a tribute to Texas A&M students (a.k.a. Aggies) who have lost their lives serving our country. For this reason, do not wear hats inside or walk on the grass outside the Memorial Student Center.

The Texas Research Data Center (RDC) will be hosting the 2016 FSRDC Research Conference on September 15, 2016. The Texas RDC is supported by a multi-university consortium involving Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University System, Baylor University, Rice University, The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas at San Antonio.

The conference will be a day of concurrent paper and poster sessions and a keynote presentation. Sessions will be based on current or recent research using data from the nationwide network of RDCs. Anticipated themes include, but are not limited to, research topics from the fields of economics, business and management, demography, and health and developments in data sets. Papers and posters involve statistical analyses on nonpublic versions of data sets available from the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Center for Health Statistics, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and other federal statistical agencies.

Call for Papers
For paper and poster presentations please submit an abstract of up to 500 words describing your research question(s), the data used (including sponsoring agency), methodology, and summary of results. Results can be anticipated or preliminary if they are not yet finalized. The abstract should include a presentation title and a list of all authors and their affiliations. Also provide the email address and phone number for the contact author.
Abstract submissions should be emailed to Dr. Mark Fossett at email@example.com.
Submission Deadline: Friday, June 17, 2016.
We expect the notices of acceptance to be sent by Friday, July 15, 2016.
A small number of travel scholarships will be available to support sole- and first-author graduate student presenters and early-career scholars. Include requests for funding as a separate paragraph in your submission.
