Texas Research Data Center Spatial Analysis Workshops and Discussions
Co-sponsored with the College of Liberal Arts Social Science Consortium
Along with the College of Liberal Arts Social Science Consortium, the TXRDC cosponsored a series of workshops and discussions on spatial analysis with Dr. Corey Sparks. Events were held on Monday, May 14, 2018 and Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Texas Research Data Center, Donald L. Houston Building, Suite 103.
Prior to attending the workshop, participants were asked to CLICK HERE to access the source code necessary to prepare for the workshop. To download all of the programs and data for the workshop, participants were asked to open R, paste the source code into the command prompt and run the code.
During the workshop, several e-books (available to Texas A&M researchers through Texas A&M University Libraries) were discussed:
Blangiardo, M., & Cameletti, M. (2015). Spatial and spatio-temporal Bayesian models with R-INLA. John Wiley & Sons.
Lawson, A. B. (2013). Bayesian disease mapping: hierarchical modeling in spatial epidemiology. CRC press. https://ebookcentral.proquest.com.ezproxy.library.tamu.edu/lib/tamum-ebooks/detail.action?docID=1165888
